June is National Pride Month, celebrating LGBTQIA+ culture, pride, and rights. Although the city of Charlotte holds its Pride event in August, there’s many celebrations in the area in June and throughout the summer to honor the LGBTQIA+ community. Here’s a list of locations and festivities in the Charlotte area:
- Saturday, June 6th: 2nd Annual Belmont Pride Festival from 12:00pm-5:00pm
- Sunday, June 14th: Huntersville Pride Festival from 12:00pm-5:00pm
- Sunday, June 14th-Saturday, June 20th: Rock Hill Pride Week
- Sunday, July 12th-Saturday, July 18th: Charlotte Black Pride Week
- Saturday, August 15th-Sunday, August 16th: Charlotte Pride Weekend 2026
- Saturday, September 26th: Statesville Pride Festival from 11:00am-5:00pm
