Spooky Season: Corn Mazes and Haunted Trails | Charlotte Moms Network

Get into spooky season with a trip to a great corn maze or haunted house in the area!  Here’s a list of places to go within two hours of Charlotte:

  • Rural Hill Corn Maze (4431 Neck Road, Huntersville, NC):  A fun corn maze for kids and adults!  Ticket prices vary for daytime and nighttime, as the corn maze is open from 10:00am-10:00pm on the weekends through Halloween.
  • Country Daze Corn Maze (416 Joe Lee Helms Road, Indian Trail, NC):  A family-friendly corn maze that’s open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through November 1st.  
  • Almond Farm LLC (5190 US-601 South, Concord, NC):  The corn maze is open Wednesday-Sunday through Halloween.  On weekends, there’s a fun “candy dump” at 12:00pm and 3:00pm via an excavator!
  • Shelby Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch (120 Broadway Drive, Shelby, NC):  Located just over an hour from Charlotte, you’ll find a corn maze and a pumpkin patch plus 40 additional attractions.  At night, you can follow the haunted Trail of Terror.  Open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays now through November 2nd. 
  • sCarrigan Farms Haunted Trail (1213 Oak Ridge Farm Highway, Mooresville, NC):  For ages 13+ only.  Reservations required; use the website to get your tickets!  Open on Thursdays-Sundays through Halloween.
  • Lake Hickory Haunts (520 Carolina Avenue, Hickory, NC):  A haunted amusement park!  13 spooky attractions to enjoy, open now through November 2nd.  Check website for restrictions, tickets, and more information.
  • sCarowinds!  (Carowinds Amusement Park, Charlotte, NC) – Spooky adventures await after dark at Carowinds on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, now through November 2nd.
