The first night of Hanukkah 2025 is Sunday, December 14th. Hanukkah (or Chanukah) is a Jewish Festival of Lights which lasts eight nights, with the last being Monday, December 22nd. Celebrate this holy holiday with members of the Charlotte community at one of these festive events:

- Chabad of Charlotte’s Giant Menorah Lighting and Hanukkah Festival – Symphony Park at 4:30pm
- First Night of Hanukkah on the Green – Davidson Town Green from 5:00pm-7:00pm
- Birkdale Village Menorah Lighting at 5:30pm
Monday, December 15th:
- Menorah Lighting – StoneCrest at Piper Glen from 4:30pm-6:00pm
Tuesday, December 16th:
- Menorah Lighting in Matthews at 5:30pm in Town Green Park
- Menorah Lighting in Waxhaw at the Railroad Overhead Bridge starting at 5:30pm
Wednesday, December 17th:
- Hanukkah Breakfast with Clifford the Big Red Dog at the Levine Jewish Community Center from 9:30am-11:00am
Sunday, December 21st:
- Charlotte Torah Center’s Chanukah Party at 5:00pm
