Kid-Friendly New Year’s Eve Events in Charlotte | Charlotte Moms Network

Celebrating the New Year sure does look different once you enter your kid era!  Here’s some hangover-free events to attend with the family this year…also known as “Noon Year’s Eve” celebrations!  (All events take place on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.)

  • Rockin’ NOON Year’s Eve:  A sensory-friendly event from 11:15am-12:00pm, no registration required!  (ImaginOn, 300 East Seventh Street, Charlotte NC 28202)
  • Family-Friendly Noon Year’s Eve Event:  Get tickets for this quick…it sells out!  Music, treats, and fun from 10:30am-12:00pm.  Recommended for ages 4+. (Matthews Community Center, 100 McDowell Street, Matthews, NC 28105)
  • New Year’s Eve Puppet Show and Bubble Party:  A puppet show followed by a bubble/dance party recommended for ages 2-7 from 10:30am-11:30am.  (Pineville Library, 505 Main Street, Pineville, NC)
  • Pineville Teen New Year’s Eve Party:  Activities for teens ages 12-18 at the Pineville Library include crafts, a dance party, and experiencing global New Year traditions! (Pineville Library, 505 Main Street, Pineville, NC)
  • Countdown Storytime:  A special New Year’s-themed story time for children ages 0-5 from 11:15am-12:15pm.  (University City Regional Library, 5528 Waters Edge Village Drive

  • Noon Year’s Eve at the Schiele Museum:  Learn about international new year traditions from 11:00am-12:00pm.  Ticket included with admission.  (The Schiele Museum, 1500 East Garrison Boulevard, Gastonia, NC 28054)
