It’s hard to believe that Labor Day Weekend is here! Let’s celebrate hard work and the last long weekend of summer at one of these fun events:
- Matthews Alive Festival: The Stumptown Park tradition is a four-day event, complete with a parade (Saturday 9/5 at 9:30am), vendors, food, and kid-friendly activities. It begins on Friday, September 4th and runs through Monday, September 7th. (Stumptown Park, Matthews, NC)
- Labor Day at The Whitewater Center: This two-day event includes music, yoga classes, a trail race, and a special kids’ event at Wildwoods, the forest-like park at the Whitewater Center, which takes place on Saturday, September 5th from 11:00am-2:00pm. - Charlotte Labor Day Parade: The annual parade takes place on Monday, September 7th in Uptown Charlotte on Tryon Street and begins at 11:00am.
- Labor Day Bash with Josh Daniel: Live music and celebration from 12:00pm-8:00pm on Monday, September 7th. (Triple C Brewing Company, Charlotte, NC)
