Danielle Lange is a former preschool teacher based in Charlotte, NC. She now owns a children’s based photography business called Creative Kid Clicks. Tell us about your business, Creative Kid Clicks.
We have a play-based children’s photography business called Creative Kid Clicks. Our photo shoots are like nothing else in the area! The goal is to capture children in their natural playful, creative, curious, messy glory!
My husband, Paul, is a professional photographer, and I’m a former preschool teacher. For our photo shoots, we set up art and sensory activities and invite the children to play and be…well, children! We also incorporate bubbles and music. It’s a blast! This is not the kind of photo shoot where you dress your kiddos up in their Sunday best and hope they cooperate. This is play, and it’s authentic!
We also offer family photo shoots where the entire family creates a large painting together, and Paul captures the whole thing! So not only will they get great photos and memories, but they’ll also have a unique work of art that they created together and will treasure for years to come. We do the photos shoots either at the family home or a location of their choosing.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received?
Dream big, know your WHY, and remember, the HOW is none of your business!
Do you have a favorite TV show or podcast to recommend to our followers?
We all need to unwind and laugh, so Smartless is my go-to podcast for that. And for the cozy, feel-good vibes, my go-to show is Gilmore Girls.
