If you need a place to take the kids that’s free and (almost) always open, playgrounds are the place to be. Although the humid summer temperatures in the Charlotte area aren’t necessarily amenable to a long stretch outdoors, playgrounds are a great way to break up the day and allow children some unstructured, screen-free fun. I personally like to go in the mornings, when it’s not too hot out and also not too crowded!
Here’s a few playgrounds in the Charlotte area that we’ve sampled, as well as ones that we’d like to try. Are we missing your favorite playground? Let us know and we’ll add it to the list!
